Job Description
* To become an integral member of a project team and provide as much support as possible in meeting deadlines, production work and project design
* To enhance personal knowledge of architectural design and gain ‘hands on’ experience in the various stages of a project’s development
* To undertake and record activities required to progress towards professional qualification, i.e. PEDR quarterly logbooks
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Assistant
* Produce drawings in accordance with company guidelines and within project deadlines
* Assist with appropriate research
* Assist in the compilation of project reports and the production of models in line with project needs
* Offer support to the project leader with general production, problem solving and design input
* Carry out such other duties which are consistent with the nature and responsibilities of the role
2. Continual development of architectural understanding and awareness
* Become involved in as many architectural studies, investigations, coordination meetings and design workshops as possible
* To become involved with a variety of the aspects within a project, and become familiar with contracts, programme and project management
* Gain an understanding of the expectations of the profession as well as gaining exposure to the overall industry
3. Proactive team member
* Become an effective and efficient team member, someone that the team can rely on
* Possess a flexible working attitude and work well within the team environment
* Proactively demonstrate knowledge and skills acquired at university
4. Professional qualifications
* To undertake and record activities required to progress towards professional qualification, i.e. PEDR quarterly logbooks
* Continue to add to your professional portfolio, ensuing to document the most impressive aspects of your contributions
Qualifications
Education and Training
* Undergraduate qualifications in Architecture - Honours optional
* Excellent design skills
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and 3D Max
* Excellent command of written and spoken English
* Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese are highly desirable
Experience
* Previous working experience is beneficial
* Previous experience in an office environment working as part of a team is preferred

* Management of your own time input vs. your productivity
* Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Able to work as part of a team and to motivate others
This role is based out of our London office, with occasional travel needed to other offices.
