Are you ready to make an impact in the world of Respiratory? Join the Specialty Care team as our Sales Lead to build and lead the national sales team in COPD and Severe Asthma. In the role you will be accountable to build a strong culture of high performing sales team and strategically planning to achieve our commercial ambition within the therapy area.
Main responsibilities:
* Build, develop and lead a sales team, creating a vision of success and a high performance culture.
* Ensuring sales team prioritise key accounts and indications between COPD and Severe Asthma, leading the account planning process and setting regional targets.
* Ensure omnichannel call plan is fully executed against target for each sales team member.
* Support utilisation of promotional materials to maximise impact of calls.
* Achieve sales performance targets, contribute to business development, provide insights for product forecasting.
* Support pre/post launch activities and helping marketing with contribution to brand planning and execution.
* Work with Supply Chain for product availability.
* Lead or support cycle meetings and liaising with the sub-Franchise Head.
About you
* Proven experience in sales and first line management.
* Experience in Immunology, preferably Respiratory and high cost drug launches in the UK.
* Detailed understanding of the ABPI/IPHA codes of practice and their practical application in a business environment.
* Proven leadership and development of highly motivated sales teams with a track record of driving high performance.
* Expertise in market access strategies and implementation would be a plus.
* Substantial and sustainable sales/marketing/commercial experience that should include working on a diverse brand mix (experience of new and mature), product launch experience, market analytical and forecasting ability, flair for KOL management.
* Experience of working in a highly scrutinised and challenged, (global and UK & Ireland) team to meet the demands associated with a major pharmaceutical product launch.
* Leadership of cross-functional teams to effectively implement strategy.
* Self-awareness and versatility that will enable strong upwards and sideways influence.
* Strategic thinker with strong commercial acumen.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Effective communicator in both individual and group settings.
* Quick-thinking, solution-oriented, and highly responsive.
