About The Role
We are currently seeking a Senior Assurance Analyst to join our Client Assurance Oversight Team. This role focuses on developing strong relationships with key outsourcers, ensuring robust control environments, and overseeing operational activities like corporate actions to drive positive outcomes for our clients and the business.
Key Responsibilities
Outsourcer Assurance and Risk Management:
1. Manage day-to-day assurance activities with key outsourcers, escalating and resolving key issues effectively.
2. Monitor operational services outsourced to third parties, using data-driven insights to manage risks and expedite issue resolution.
3. Act as a key liaison with internal and external stakeholders, influencing and engaging third parties to minimize risks and ensure timely issue resolution.
4. Seek assurance over outsourced service controls, assessing risk management effectiveness and ensuring issues are addressed within acceptable risk tolerance.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
1. Track and monitor third-party performance, holding outsourcers accountable for managing risks and delivering against agreed KPIs and KRIs.
2. Provide detailed analysis and assurance over outsourced risks and controls, delivering frequent performance reports to internal stakeholders.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including CASS, COBS, SYSC, DPA, and Conduct Risk.
Customer Outcomes and Process Improvement:
1. Expedite good customer outcomes by stepping in to resolve issues, concerns, or complex scenarios.
2. Lead initiatives to enhance the control environment and improve processes that deliver better customer outcomes.
3. Use a proactive and innovative approach to deliver consistent and robust outcomes.
About The Candidate
1. Strong analytical skills with the ability to critically assess and challenge existing processes to ensure best practices.
2. Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulations, including CASS, COBS, SYSC, and Conduct Risk.
3. Commercial awareness and the ability to align oversight activities with strategic business objectives.
4. A track record of managing relationships effectively, influencing stakeholders, and driving collaborative outcomes.
5. Ability to lead changes that improve customer outcomes or enhance the control environment.
6. Proactive in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
