The Role As Senior HR Officer, you will deliver an effective HR and payroll service, ensuring robust and proactive support to the College leadership team. This role is essential to maintaining high standards and enabling our staff to excel in their roles. Key Responsibilities: Act as the principal HR contact for Senior Leaders, Governors, and external stakeholders. Oversee HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and performance reviews. Ensure compliance with College, Trust, and legal HR policies and guidelines. Manage and maintain accurate personnel records within the College's HR systems. Produce HR-related reports for the Governing Body and Senior Managers. Support budget planning for HR and payroll, linking to the College Improvement Plan. Lead on HR-related risk assessments, including maternity and absence management. Liaise with external organisations such as Payroll, Pension providers, HMRC, and Occupational Health. St Bede's and St Joseph's Catholic College is a two-site College – role holder should be aware that you may be asked to work on either site.
