So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied remit, and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
1. Deliver commercial business plans and drive profitable business outcomes in line with Specialist Pharmacy’s overall strategy maximising margin across the business, aligned with sales, marketing.
2. Identifying new business opportunities, including new customers, partnership or launching new products and services.
3. Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
4. Maintaining & developing relationships with existing clients to build sales and grow portfolio usage.
5. Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients.
6. Proactively reaching out for new business.
7. Attending conferences and events to build strong industry relationships with business partners & staying up to date with competitor insights, new trends and market development opportunities.
8. Understanding Specialist Pharmacy’s products in the marketplace, competitor mix, and positioning required to gain market share and success.
9. Work with a tight budget to achieve high return on investment.
10. Track and measure success of key strategic business plans vs spend.
11. Negotiate with key stakeholders to deliver profitable business outcomes.
12. Deliver Quarterly Business Review meetings with identified customer groups & stakeholders to deliver strategies, review performance aligned with and defined in overall company strategy.
13. Work closely and collaboratively with Specialist Pharmacy’s internal teams to ensure alignment and effective communication and delivery of sales strategies and activity.
14. Understand competitor commercial activity to maximise and support key commercial opportunities.
15. Maintain internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system is up to date with accurate Customer records and manage business meeting outcomes.
Set yourself apart
1. Background in medical/healthcare/prescription sales.
2. Understanding of prescription medication laws, regulations and private healthcare market.
3. An interest or experience in formulations, or related technical background.
4. Strong appreciation for market trends and customer purchase drivers.
5. Ability to work fully autonomously whilst being a key member of a leadership team.
6. Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and to encourage and support others to achieve their objectives.
7. Ability to work in a dynamic environment under tight timelines.
8. Experience in women’s health.
9. Background in cosmetic, dermatology/or other anti-aging industry.
10. Familiar with Microsoft Office, Teams, Excel, etc.
11. Negotiation Skills.
