Our client is a prestigious and well-established organisation located on the outskirts of Banbury.
They have a new permanent requirement for a Finance Manager to lead their accounting function.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for the control and reporting of business performance, processes and finances, ensuring statutory and legal obligations are met including the Company Secretary responsibilities. The Finance Manager has a specific remits to ensure that the accounts are accurate and meet all audit conditions, as well as to ensure that the data is presented in ways to assist the shaping of the financial strategy and day-to-day management.
Some of the specific duties will include:
1. The creation of business plans and budgets in line with the strategic plans of the organisation.
2. Leading the management, control and reporting of business performance, processes and finance.
3. Advising on investments in consultation with brokers and investment managers.
4. Maintaining and developing the accounting function by preparing management accounts, cash flow projections and financial plans, including departmental budgets
5. Coordinating the annual budget and periodic forecasts, including financial modelling.
6. Ensuring compliance with all tax and charity rules.
