Flexibility is key, and we operate on a rota basis (12 weeks in advance) allowing you meaningful time off. About the Role: As a PCO, you will provide safe and secure escorting and custody services to detainees, focusing on their wellbeing during court proceedings. Key duties include: Escorting defendants to and from courtrooms, cells, and other areas, including accompanying them to the toilet. Monitoring and supervising detainees in the docks during court sessions. Maintaining discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive information. Ensuring access to food and drink and monitoring health. Ensuring safety and security in the court environment. Conducting thorough searches to prevent contraband entry. Completing paperwork and data entry accurately. Working with court staff, law enforcement, and legal professionals.
