Job summary Chelmer Medical Partnership have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent GP assistant to join their team at their Merlin Place practice on a part-time basis for 30 hours per week. General practice assistants, (GPAs), form part of a multi-disciplinary team within primary care to provide a support role within our duty hub, carrying out administrative tasks and care navigating. Main duties of the job Triaging and booking appointments as appropriate as part of the Duty Hub team, using the AccuRx triage system. Sending referrals to Pharmacy First and MECs. Managing all internal and external enquiries in an effective manner. Scanning of patient related documentation and attaching scanned documents. to patients healthcare records. Supporting patient experience by reiterating information from the GP. Assisting with practice tasks. Supporting the wider practice team where required.
