Our Vegetation team has a fantastic opportunity for a Aborist to join them in Oldham. This full-time Arborist role is based in Oldham and offers a generous salary of up to 34,832.91, depending on qualifications and experience, plus excellent benefits. As an Arborist, you will be responsible for clearing trees adjacent to overhead power lines and sub-stations. Operating chainsaws and chippers, the Arborist will be working as part of a great team to ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with codes of practice. What we are looking for To give you an idea of how this Arborist role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do: Liaise with customers to generate maximum tree clearance programs Act as an ambassador for ENWL when dealing with 3rd parties Liaise to complete tree clearance work in line with BS3998 and G55/2 (where applicable) Engage with site-specific risk assessment and safe working practices Ensure compliance of completed tree-cutting work packs To apply for this Arborist job, you will need experience working within the arb industry working outdoors in all weather conditions, working at height and holding a full UK driving licence, ideally with BE.
