The Opportunity As a Technical Writer, you will work as part of the product team to create high-quality, customer-facing documentation that enables our users to understand and use Snowplow’s products effectively. You will play a key role in translating complex technical concepts into accessible and engaging content for our customers, which includes engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders. What You’ll Be Doing: ● Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Customer Success, Sales Engineering and Support to understand the functionality and nuances of Snowplow's platform and data capabilities. ● Create and maintain user-friendly documentation for Snowplow products, including technical guides, setup instructions, API references, and tutorials. ● Develop content around how to leverage Snowplow for a range of use cases, from basic setup to advanced implementations across key industries (e.g., retail, digital products, AI/ML).Ensure all documentation is clear, accurate, and up-to-date, and reflects new product updates and features. ● Gather feedback from customers and internal teams to continuously improve documentation quality and usability. ● Contribute to Snowplow’s knowledge base and thought leadership to support a community of data professionals. ● Organise and produce short instructional videos in collaboration with participants across the business We’d Love to Hear From You If: ● Proven experience as a Technical Writer or in a similar documentation role, ideally within a tech or SaaS environment. ● Native English speaker or equivalent proficiency, with storytelling skills and an ability to simplify complex technical information. ● Proven experience writing for technical audiences, including software developers, data engineers, or data scientists. ● Strong technical understanding of data platforms, data modeling, or event tracking, and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).Experience with documentation tools such as Markdown, Git, and content management systems. ● Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple documentation projects.
