We want someone who will take pride in their work and who is thorough and dedicated in preparing the school site daily to provide an excellent learning environment. Under the direction and instruction of the Site Manager, the successful candidate will undertake the cleaning of a designated area and work across the school. Working hours will be 15 hours per week (term time 3 weeks), with hours spread across Monday to Friday (3 hours per day 2.45pm - 5.45pm with some degree of flexibility with start times). Weekly hours will be condensed over the school summer holidays to allow for deep cleaning of the school. St Stephen's Church of England Primary School provides primary education, serving families in Preston city centre and the surrounding area. Located in an expansive setting in Broadgate, we are just a short walk from Avenham and Miller Parks, Preston Railway Station, Winckley Square, and the River Ribble. We are delighted to admit 45 children each year. Our Site Support Team are a likeminded, mutually supportive team with a wealth of experience. They are hardworking and take pride in ensuring the school is presented to the highest of standards. The school building is made up of a preschool, infant and junior department. The site consists of larger areas such as a hall, traditional classrooms and learning areas, plus high traffic areas such as corridors and toilets. Experience is preferred, but not essential as training can be given. A strong work ethic, and a commitment to working in a team and independently, are all crucial.
