What you will do in your working day
As a Payroll Apprentice, your daily tasks will vary greatly. You'll assist in preparing UK payrolls on various schedules, handling changes promptly. You'll calculate statutory payments like SSP, SMP, and compile comprehensive reports, while also communicating with clients and HMRC, managing year-end forms, and handling RTI submissions. Each day, you'll support your payroll team and embrace new challenges.

Payroll administrator - Level 3 (A level)
A 100% tailored training and assessment program will be delivered to support you throughout your Apprenticeship, (21 months including endpoint assessment) topics covered include –

Technical Payroll
Regulations and Compliance
Systems and Processes
Planning and Prioritisation
Analysis skills
Using Systems and Processes
Producing Quality and Accurate Information and Reports
You may need to complete level 2 Maths and English Functional skills (if you cannot evidence prior grades)
What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship
Upon successful completion of the Payroll administrator qualification, the successful apprentice will become a client payroll specialist.
