Oilenco specialises in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of innovative and practical well intervention tools for the global oil and gas industry. For over 15 years, the company have developed a wide range of tooling, from bespoke solutions for complex plug and abandonment campaigns to immediate downhole tooling available from their rental fleet.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
* Managing daily logistical operations, including shipping and transportation (air, sea, and road) of all equipment to customers and suppliers.
* Managing customs arrangements and liaising with shipping companies, Oilenco operations and customers for the exporting and importing of all goods as per local and international standards.
* Reviewing and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery and timely returns.
* Coordinating and managing all 3rd party rental equipment (i.e. tool baskets containers), ensuring timely and efficient movement of equipment.
* Managing imports, ensuring all goods are imported correctly using appropriate HMRC authorisation where applicable, ensuring the correct use of tariff codes, CPC codes and incoterms where necessary.
* Managing, recording, and monitoring of all goods in and out and liaising with the QC Department to maintain complete stock control.
* Working with and updating any client systems required to support logistical activities (e.g. SAP Ariba, Oilfield OS).
* Maintaining records on all despatches, imports and exports and preparing and maintaining all freight and logistics documentation.
* Monitoring and managing the performance of logistics suppliers, maintaining relationships with transport companies and other logistics partners to ensure freight and other related costs remain competitive.
* Working with the Operations and Business Development Teams to ensure revenue information regarding logistics is updated and correct for invoicing clients.
Technical/Professional Expertise and Qualifications required:
* Experience within a logistics role in a similar oil and gas service company, engineering or manufacturing company.
* Experience with UK and International freight logistics including import and export procedures essential.
* Knowledge of UK import and export customs guidelines, including HM customs and excise regulations and standards.
