What you will be doing
As a Health Safety & Wellbeing Manager, you will:
* Work with Health, Safety & Wellbeing Senior Management to ensure appropriate implementation of the delivery plan for the geographic regions.
* Strengthen the management of investigations to ensure effective root cause analysis and implementation of preventative and corrective actions.
* Undertake site inspections and assurance visits focusing on high and medium-risk sites to deliver the 5-year assurance program.
* Build valuable internal and external relationships with stakeholders, supply chain partners, and regulators.
* Be included in the ‘on-call’ Health, Safety & Wellbeing ‘24/7’ rota to provide functional support for incident management.
* Support Capital delivery and review contractors’ activities.
* Produce and present performance reports across different teams.
* Working hours: 36 hours per week.
What you should bring to the role
* Expertise in risks related to Water, Wastewater, and/or Construction.
* NEBOSH Diploma and working towards CMIOSH.
* Deep knowledge of Health, Safety, and Wellbeing legislation and practical application.
* Strong negotiation skills at high levels.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
