About the role
We are looking to recruit a Children and Young People’s Skills Mentor to join our Attainment and Engagement Team (Lifelong Learning).
This is an exciting role within the service providing the opportunity to work with young people from the community and improve their educational outcomes.
On a day to day basis you will:
1. Formulate and coordinate educational and wellbeing packages of support that meet the Additional needs of our pupils
2. Ensure the Health, safety and wellbeing of all pupils who attend the unit by working in a multi-agency capacity
3. Provide and coordinate high quality pastoral care by coordinating programs and interventions
4. Create an inclusive, comfortable and happy Unit environment to ensure good pupil engagement and wellbeing
5. Work as part of a team to ensure effective daily provision

17. To be organized and be able to multi-task
18. Ability to maintain a professional relationship whilst working with young people and external delivery partners
