Finance Cashiering Team Administrator
Salary: National ranging from £28,800 to £32,000 and London from £31,600 to £35,000

The team/department
The successful candidate will be part of a team of 4 within the greater Revenue/Finance department which is responsible for the invoicing, receiving payments and collection of invoices for over 45 thousand firms. In total, the Revenue team collected in excess of £2bn in 2023/24.
What you will be doing (the role)
* Ownership of the entire Credit Card Reconciliation Process
* Manage the user population of the “Online Invoicing” Fees Portal
* Actively reply to customer queries received to the Fees Portal Queries Inbox
* Allocating incoming payments by cheque, card and electronic payment methods including resolving payment queries
* Providing cover for the other cashiering functions (Direct Debits, Unallocated receipts)
* Assisting account handlers in the chasing of overdue invoices, write offs and credits during the less busier periods of the year

The skills and experience you will have
Minimum
* Experience of working with a heavy workload and within tight timeframes
* Previous cashiering experience
* Experience of using Microsoft Excel to an advanced standard
Essential
* Organisational skills and ability to manage conflicting priorities and escalate issues when required, so that work is completed on time and to agreed standards
* Good Excel skills and numeracy skills
* Excellent people skills - ability to interact with people at all levels, communicating information clearly, concisely, and confidently on a wide range of issues (both written and orally)
* A good collaborator willing to actively contribute to team meetings and in other areas where input is required
* Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and ensure attention to detail
* Evidence of teamwork and partnership – the ability to work actively with others to achieve outcomes in both formal and informal teams
* Can demonstrate decision-making – confidence in ability to use sound judgement to reach conclusions on own initiative
