Tyrrells Wood Golf Club - Clubhouse Operations Manager
Set in 140 acres of the Surrey Hills, Tyrrells Wood Golf Club comprises a Grade II Listed Clubhouse and an 18-hole James Braid designed golf course.
As Clubhouse Manager, you will have the highest standards and pay scrupulous attention to detail. You must have the ability to create an environment for our members and guests of a warm, friendly, and impeccably run service business. You will have a genuine passion for engaging with members & guests, ensuring they are made to feel welcome at all times.
You could join us at a very exciting time, as we are currently undergoing a £750k refurbishment of our F&B areas, due to open at the end of February. Being able to demonstrate that you have the skills to inspire and train a team to provide the service that matches its surroundings is key to success.
* You will lead the team to ensure they provide polite and efficient service at all times to maintain the standard of service and quality of the club.
* You will monitor staffing levels, undertake recruitment in liaison with the General Manager of all permanent and temporary bar and restaurant staff, their induction, training, and complete product knowledge.
* Responsible for ordering all liquor, beers, wines, and spirits, accepting delivery, managing the cellar and the stock levels, protecting the physical product, and handling all liquor invoices.
* Responsible for the control of cash handling and cash up procedures in line with policies and procedures set by the Club.
* Ensuring legal requirements and standards of hygiene and health and safety are met and that bar staff are fully compliant.
* Ensuring agreed quality standards are achieved consistently with respect to food, beverage, clubhouse presentation, and customer service.
* You will possess a thorough working knowledge of operations and events and will liaise with the department to ensure smooth running of weddings, functions, and golf events.
* Assist in the co-ordination of forecasts ensuring departmental costs are in line with business forecasts.
* Assist in the development of the department, liaising with the Head Chef to ensure delivery in quality food & beverage offerings.

Job Type: Full-time
The role is up to 48 hours per week, on a 5 days out of 7 basis, including weekends and bank holidays. Flexibility will be required from time to time to support the needs of the business.
