As a CAD Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in creating technical drawings and plans using cutting-edge computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your expertise will ensure that every design meets required specifications and industry standards, contributing to the successful execution of engineering projects. Principle Accountabilities Develop detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to understand project requirements and specifications. Ensure that all designs meet the required standards and specifications. Review and modify designs based on feedback and project requirements. Maintain accurate records of designs and revisions. Provide technical support and guidance to other team members on CAD software and design principles. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in CAD software and design. Qualifications and Experience Experience with Inventor & AutoCAD. Good understanding of engineering principles and design standards. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methods. Experience of parametric modelling Manufacturing drawing experience Technical certification or a diploma in engineering or a related field is preferred.
