Job Overview
We are currently seeking a Counter Assistant to assist with the team on busy Saturdays. The role will involve dealing with customer enquiries, processing sales, stock replenishing and general upkeep of the showroom floor.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide excellent customer service.
2. Communicate effectively with customers.
3. Provide a welcoming and friendly environment for customers.
4. Resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely and appropriate manner.
5. Provide support for other trade counters as required.
6. Assist with showroom security.
7. Display product ranges and equipment.
8. Where applicable, arrange PDI (pre-delivery inspection) for equipment sold.
9. Work on electronic point of sale system.
10. Replenish showroom shelves, and retain high shop-keeping standards.
Skills and Experience
1. Previous customer service experience is beneficial.
2. Good numeracy and literacy skills.
3. The ability to negotiate with customers.
4. Capable of working on their own and make successful decisions contributing to a sale.
5. Must be over 16 years of age.
