They are now seeking a BoM Controller/Production Coordinator to join their forward-thinking team. This role will play a vital part in supporting the design and execution of cutting-edge projects, collaborating with leading experts to take ownership of project BoMs (Bill of Materials) from concept through to production.
As well as being highly organised and data driven, our ideal candidate will also have experience with using Teamcenter, Workspace, and NX integration. This role is based in a vibrant office location at the entrance to Portsmouth Harbour with a company that is on a huge upward trajectory.
Responsibilities
1. Handle the creation and updates of project Bill of Materials (BoMs) from start to finish for various marine engineering projects.
2. Oversee the approval and release of designs for components and assemblies.
3. Manage the design team's use of custom-made parts.
4. Work with other departments to streamline processes.
5. Collaborate with department leaders to plan and track project progress.
6. Work closely with the Project Lifecycle Managers to ensure the project and its component parts are delivered on time and to budget.
