Principal/ Head


My client is a leading SEN Education setting who is seeking a passionate and dedicated Principal/ Head to join their leadership team, and leading the team at one of their SEN/SEMH School sites.


The role involves ensuring the delivery of high-quality education, fostering an organized and effective school environment, and maintaining exceptional safeguarding standards.


As an integral member of the leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping a positive, inspiring, and inclusive culture.


This role is ideal for an existing Deputy/ Assistant Head who is looking for the next step in their career.


To be considered, you will have extensive experience of SEN/ SEMH in the Primary age phase


Key Responsibilities:


1. Collaborate with the Executive Principal and senior leaders to uphold outstanding standards of education, therapy, and care.
2. Act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, delivering safeguarding training and updates.
3. Organize and oversee efficient school operations, including timetabling and staff management.
4. Lead by example in classroom practice, supporting and mentoring teachers to maintain excellent educational standards.
5. Establish professional relationships with staff, families, and external stakeholders.
