Electonic Test Equipment Engineer - Contract
- Rate: Up to £55 per hour (Outside IR35)
- Location: Crawley, West Sussex (Onsite, with remote work when suitable)
- Contract Length: 6 months initially
The Role:
KO2's client is seeking an Electronic Test Equipment Engineer to build an ATE Test Rig from scratch for testing a low-voltage electronic device post-manufacture.
The electronic device incorporates multiple communication protocols (Ethernet, CAN, RS485, RS232 etc.). Your main responsibility will be designing and building the Electronic Test Rig to test both the device and its communication interfaces.
You'll work closely with a Software Test Engineer, who will develop the test software to drive the rig you create.
Key Skills Required:
Development of Electronic ATE Test Rigs
Strong electronics knowledge
Ability to collaborate with a Software Test EngineerDesirable (Not Essential):
Experience with National Instruments Hardware
Familiarity with Test Fixtures / Bed of Nails testing
Hands-on skills in crimping cables, soldering, and assembly
