As a Lecturer in Childcare and Education you will be educating and engaging our students, preparing them for careers in a variety of work-related areas such as supporting children in Early Years or Primary Schools and supporting families and children. The skills delivered in our Childcare and Education courses will give students the skills and knowledge to achieve success in this sector and progress to higher levels of study, employment or university. As the successful candidate will be course leading and delivering on the T-Level in Education and Early Years programme, experience within the industry is required. The successful candidate will be required to: Plan and deliver high quality teaching in the subject areas required, using up to date vocational knowledge and expertise to ensure the curriculum delivered develops students' employability, life and learning skills. Motivate and inspire students and raise their aspirations through own enthusiasm and subject knowledge. Support students to take responsibility for their own learning by helping them to set goals that stretch and challenge them. Manage and promote positive student behaviour. Taking Teaching Further The College actively engages with the Education & Training Foundation's Taking Teaching Further scheme to recruit industry professionals to teach within Further Education. As industry professionals offer our students industry experience and insight we support our unqualified teachers to learn 'on the job'. You will be given full support throughout your development to fully qualified teacher status. Whilst in employment you would be enrolled onto the Level 3 Award in Education and Training. After completion you can choose to move be onto our Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification.
