We are seeking a Display Assistant to be part of our Edinburgh team. The role would be 32 hours a week on a rota basis.
What you will be doing:
1. Assisting with the development, production and implementation of display materials for use in the store to create interior displays.
2. Assisting with the installation, dressing and snagging of windows ensuring a high standard of execution and excellent attention to detail.
3. Mannequin handling, dressing and styling in line with Designer look books and key trends.
4. Supporting our Visual Merchandiser to maintain high standards of presentation and merchandising, challenging the use of the product range to give a more creative approach, whilst keeping in accordance with the company’s guidelines to deliver consistency across the store.
5. Assisting with requests from sales consultants and customers for items displayed on the mannequins and in windows.
6. To support in the installations for promotional events both in store and externally.
7. Ensure a good standard of housekeeping within the department and that it is maintained in a safe manner, free of hazards, and that the store Health and Safety Regulations are adhered to at all times.
8. Understand the need for changing priorities and required work to be finished on time, occasionally continuing outside basic working hours to meet the needs of the business.
9. Ensure the compliance of Harvey Nichols rules and regulations regarding stock movement when placing window stock on approval.
Is this you?
10. Experience working within the Display function in window and interior installations.
11. Experience in Visual Merchandising
12. MAC and PC literate
13. Strong communication skills
14. Capable of managing numerous tasks at one time displaying strong organisation skills and forward thinking, as well as problem solving
15. Able to thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment and adapt to changes.
