As a Change Programme Manager, you’ll be at the heart of major internal transformations and future improvements, working on a multimillion-pound portfolio. You’ll be comfortable working through ambiguity, driving the business to clarify scope, benefits, and implementation approach. You will provide structure and momentum throughout the change lifecycle of the Programme, developing implementation approaches and programme schedules, be comfortable working through ambiguity to help provide the business clarity of scope and delivery structure whilst building relationships to deliver those plans. We’re currently delivering a range of changes, as we respond to changing customer demands, and are reviewing every aspect of the organisation and optimising processes.
This role will Programme Manage a significant change programme within the portfolio, delivering a new Operating Model for TfL whilst contributing towards TfL’s ambition to be financially sustainable. You will guide the delivery of the programme with the support of a large matrix team from across the business, provide strategic insight and change delivery expertise to drive the successful delivery of the programme.
As a Change Programme Manager, you’re likely to have significant experience working at a senior level on large and complex change programmes. Used to engaging with board-level colleagues, you’ll be capable of quickly building rapport, establishing trust and credibility, and exerting influence. You’ll bring a collaborative culture, strong planning and people management, and a willingness to adapt your expertise to diverse projects. You’ll also be tenacious in pursuit of improvement and delivery.
You will be able to evidence the following (essential criteria):
* A proven record of delivering and managing the delivery of complex change programmes Excellent experience in influencing across an organisation to achieve common goals, presenting persuasive and compelling arguments for change.
* Extensive experience in working with Directors and Senior Managers.
* Broad experience of using a variety of programme management methodologies and tools.
* Building and leading matrix teams in a large and complex organisation, setting a collaborative culture, building capability, and creating an environment of continuous learning.

As a fixed-term contractor we can offer you a choice of pension arrangements. If you choose not to take our final salary pension scheme you will be paid an allowance on top of your salary, subject to Tax and National Insurance.
