Project Engineer (DAYS)
£40,000 - £50,000 Plus Excellent Benefits
The Company
My client is a specialist Tier 1 manufacturer supplying into leading global companies for multiple sectors and applications.
The Role
Reporting to Operations, the Project Engineer will have the responsibility for leading projects and working with the customer to ensure that they are delivered on time and to budget.
Additional responsibilities will include:
1. Liaising with other functions to ensure best practice
2. Monitoring and reporting on all project stages
3. Providing technical support throughout the life of the project
4. Ensuring full compliance with the company QMS
5. Regular contract review and creation of relevant project documentation
6. Developing and improving business processes where possible
7. Ensuring compliance to company Health & Safety
The Individual
The ideal Project Engineer will be qualified to a minimum HNC in an Engineering discipline supported by at least 5 years Project Engineering experience.
You will also have:
1. A proven track record in defining methods of manufacture for complex products and assemblies
2. Be able to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings
3. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
4. A good working knowledge of Project Management methodologies
5. Excellent attention to detail
6. BPSS clearance
7. Competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Project
8. CAD/CAM experience in a relevant software package would be an advantage
