As we continue to expand our homeownership offering, we are looking for an exceptional Head of Sales & Operations to lead our team in delivering outstanding sales performance, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
About the Role
As Head of Sales & Operations, you will be responsible for leading and developing our sales team to achieve ambitious sales targets across our growing portfolio of over-55s homes. You will drive a high-performance culture, ensuring our sales strategy is effectively implemented while maintaining compliance with all regulatory and governance requirements.
Your role will involve:
1. Leadership & Team Development – Managing and motivating a high-performing sales team, setting clear objectives, and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
2. Sales Performance & Strategy – Delivering sales targets through strategic planning, robust sales processes, and proactive market engagement.
3. Compliance & Governance – Ensuring all sales activities adhere to regulatory requirements, including shared ownership and leasehold legislation, and maintaining best practices in consumer protection.
4. Operational Excellence – Overseeing the entire sales journey from lead generation to completion, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and an exceptional customer experience.
5. Reporting & Insights – Providing accurate, data-driven sales and performance reports to senior leadership, using analytics to drive decision-making and improve results.
6. Stakeholder Engagement – Working closely with marketing, development, legal, and external partners to align sales efforts with broader business objectives.
What we’re looking for:
7. Extensive experience in a senior sales operations or management role in housing or property.
8. A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing budgets.
9. Strong leadership skills with experience inspiring and developing teams.
10. Expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales performance analytics.
11. Deep knowledge of sales processes, compliance, and regulations (, Homes England CFG).
12. Exceptional strategic thinking, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
13. Desirable: Experience in shared ownership or retirement sectors.
