PROJECT COST CONTROL
Location:
Northop
Purpose:
Ensure analysis and control of project costs, highlighting variances with respect to the approved budget, and monitoring the implementation of corrective actions.
Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
· Support the project budget preparation, structure, and manage job orders
· Ensure the project costs monitoring, control and analysis, verifying the consistency with budget and correct allocation, highlighting any variance with respect to the plan
· Manage the administrative and accounting system of project costs, ensuring the technical support for material requisitions, job orders, supplies/contracts certifications
· Ensure timely and accurate costs reporting.
· To ensure full adherence to the Company’s Health, Safety & Environment policies, procedures, and standards
· To fully comply with Code of Ethics and Law 231 principles
· To participate in Emergency Response duties, as required
Qualifications & Experience:
· Engineering degree or relevant equivalent experience
· Familiar with the use of SAP/MS Project/Primavera
· Be well acquainted with the operational methods and details related to daily activities of a maintenance engineering office supporting both on and offshore operational facilities
· Extensive experience in planning and control of multi-disciplinary activities
· Extensive experience in engaging with external vendors and resources
· Appreciation of contract management requirements
Required Competencies:
· Previous experience in the upstream O&G industry with significant exposure to offshore and onshore projects
· Good working of software applications, such as MS Office, SAP, MS Project, Primavera
· Deep knowledge of maintenance & project planning
· Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation, negotiation & influencing skills
Work Conditions:
Office based in Northop, with potential requirement to visit onshore and offshore sites
