Project Manager - Specialist Contractor

We are seeking an organized and proactive Project Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced project manager to oversee multiple, specialist projects from end to end—working closely with subcontractors, internal teams, and directors.

The Role
The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to delivery and final sign-off, ensuring each project runs efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. Managing several projects simultaneously requires strong organization and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple projects from initial brief to handover
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate site activities
* Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and risk assessments
* Oversee installation and commissioning of specialist equipment
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure health and safety compliance
* Identify and resolve issues proactively to minimize delays or disruptions
* Maintain documentation and report regularly to stakeholders and directors
Requirements:
* Proven experience in project management, ideally within construction, subcontracting, or specialist equipment installation
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
* Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in liaising with diverse stakeholders
* Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
* Proficient in project management tools and documentation
* Full UK driving license and ability to travel to project sites within a reasonable distance of Leeds
