Closing Date – Applications close 26th November at 5pm A chance to thrive We’re looking for a Credit Risk Senior Analyst to join our Credit Risk Customer Management Strategy within the Banking Risk team at Tesco Bank, part of Barclays Bank UK Plc. As a member of the portfolio team the workload can be varied and offers the opportunity for stretch and development. You’ll be responsible for developing and optimising the credit strategy for existing customers, that supports sustainable growth and is within Risk Appetite limits. What you’ll be doing • Developing and optimising the credit strategy for existing customers, that fully aligns with the Customer strategy and considers the expected macroeconomic outlook. • Monitor performance against targets, ensuring lending remains within Risk Appetite and driving correct action on segments that are outside of expectations. • Monitor the impact that credit strategies have on customers, aiming to deliver good outcomes at all times. • Analysing new innovative sources of data and the opportunities on credit strategy. • Produce high quality change papers and present at credit committees, using a range of influencing skills to gain support from key stakeholders. • Collaborating positively and constructively with a wide range of stakeholders to understand how processes, models and initiatives influence credit strategy. Stakeholders include teams within Credit Risk, Second Line Risk, Credit Risk Modelling, Commercial and Finance. We need you to have • Previous experience within a Credit Risk function or similar analytical role. • Proficiency in data extraction and manipulation using SAS/SQL and MS Excel. • Strong numeracy and ability to understand and solve problems through analysis of complex data. And if you have any of these, even better • Technical knowledge of Credit Risk, specifically Portfolio Management • Ability to communicate results of analysis effectively using a range of tools. • Understanding of bureau data and characteristics, including new value-added blocks. • Good understanding of the value drivers for both lenders and Customers.
