An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Salaried GP to join our Practice for 4 sessions per week. We are seeking a GP not only to provide GP medical services but also to work with our Partners in the supervision and support of our array of GP Trainees. We are a highly successful well-established training practice and we are keen to welcome a new member to the training team.
The role is on a 12 month fixed term basis with a view to extension.

Main duties of the job
To work as an autonomous practitioner adhering to GMC standards and be responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with our contractual obligations. The successful applicant will maintain a positive and collaborative working relationship with all roles within the practice.
The post holder will also provide supervision to our GP Trainees, leading by example in the support for the GPs of the future.

Job responsibilities
* The delivery of highly effective medical care to patients
* Delivery of services in line with GMS Contract
* Effective management of patients with long-term conditions and those requiring palliative care
* Delivery of administration including referrals, investigations, repeat prescription requests and other associated administration
* Maintain accurate clinical records in conjunction with good practice, policy, and guidance
* Work collaboratively with the rest of the team
* Adhere to best practice and the audit process
* Contribute to the successful implementation of continuous improvement and quality initiatives within the practice
* Action clinical areas required for QOF
* Attend and contribute effectively to practice meetings as required
