This position is integral in maintaining and enhancing the roads and infrastructure for the benefit of the public.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect and coordinate on-site temporary activities on the network.
Ensure compliance with NRSWA and TMA regulations, statutory guidance, and codes of practice.
Take action and apply penalties when necessary to enforce compliance.
Promote positive partnerships with various agencies, communities, and team members.
Prepare technical reports for members, partners, customers, and stakeholders.
Review processed applications for permits and propose further variations during inspections if needed.
Manage and inspect target sample inspections and follow up on inspections under the Code of Practice.
Monitor works promoter compliance under various sections of NRSWA and take justified action upon non-compliance.
Proactively inspect and monitor utility excavations and reinstatements, ensuring adherence to Health and Safety and Specifications.
Assess and initiate actions following site inspections to ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
Job Requirements:
Experience in streetworks and NRSWA regulations.
Ability to ensure compliance with relevant statutory guidance and codes of practice.
Strong organisational and coordination skills.
