At its site in Middlewich, Cheshire, UK (with immediate central links to the M6), Indaver operates a solvent recycling facility; accepting hazardous and non-hazardous (waste) solvents, providing bespoke recovery solutions, Indaver is able to support the customers with lab analysis, pilot scale trials, and recycling at commercial scale. The objective of this Process Operator is to carry out the processing of materials as detailed in the manufacturing procedures, health & safety procedures, environmental procedures and quality procedures. It is the responsibility of all employees to ensure that all Health, Safety & Environmental procedures are complied with at all times. The Process Operator will be a full-time (42 hours) on-site position. Shifts are typically 2 x day shifts followed by 2 night shifts and then 4 days off. The shift hours are 6am - 6pm and 6pm - 6am. Role & Responsibilities Operate the plant to manufacture products within specification by following the process instructions. Monitor the production processes, responding to abnormal situations and escalating problems beyond their level of competence to the Shift Manager. Complete the Batch Records and Bulk Storage Logs according to Good Documentation Practices Ensure product quality is protected from cross contamination by applying due care and attention with processing tasks. Carry out in-process analysis of products. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping ensuring the site is audit ready at all times. Use all equipment and tools correctly and as instructed. Monitor plant equipment condition reporting any faults to the Shift Manager. Report all accidents, hazards and near misses immediately using the current reporting structure. Complete all daily checks including Forklift Trucks and Powered Pallet Trucks before is used. From time to time the management can request for support in the Yard management function to load/unload product, and to ensure the stock of material is stored in the correct storage facilities following storage best practice. Be prepared to work in a flexible manner as and when the Company requests. Undertake any task deemed reasonable that you are considered competent by the Company to carry out. Where necessary relevant training will be provided.
