Oaklands Global are currently looking to recruit an experienced Simulator Maintenance Engineer (Sim Engineer) to join our client on a permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of up to four commercial Full Flight Simulators (FFS).
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform preventive maintenance and assist in troubleshooting simulator systems.
2. Run Qualification Test Guides (QTG).
3. Conduct basic visual alignments, minor repairs (soldering/crimping), and pre-flight checks.
4. Manage parts logistics and handle customer service support.
5. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
6. Strong understanding of electrical/electronic systems and fault diagnosis.
7. Experience with flight simulator systems.
8. HNC/HND in Avionics or Electrical & Electronic Engineering is a plus.
9. Previous experience with Boeing/Airbus simulators or similar systems is desirable.
Shift Pattern
10. 12-hour shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern. Flexibility is essential.
