We are seeking a talented individual to join our Real Estate team at Marsh. This role will be based in Norwich. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
The Real Estate practice provides commercial real estate advice and broking solutions to property owners and investors predominantly in the UK and Europe.
Working with a wide array of clients including FTSE250 companies, banks, pension funds, investment managers, asset managers and across a large spectrum of asset types such as residential, offices, warehousing and retail ensures a big variety in the day to day role of being a Client Advisor.
We will count on you to:
* Manage renewal strategy activities in conjunction with the Client Executive
* Plan service team work in relation to upcoming renewals & preparation of client renewal reports
* Request and analyse underwriting information
* Request Claims Reports from the Programme Analysis Team
* Create market presentations and renewal documents ensuring renewal strategy is reflected
* Manage premium billing, collection, settlement in accordance with Working Capital Management targets
* Prepare and issue renewal documentation including the creation of invoices, evidence of cover documentation and renewal policy documentation.
* Undertake wording comparisons.
* Act as first point of contact within service team for day to day client insurance queries
* Control the resolution of complex client queries, changes in cover and risk
* Review and comment on Indemnity and Insurance contract clauses
* Prepare reports on specific projects
* Host client and insurer meetings in consultation with Placement and Client Executive
* Analyse Client needs and promote Marsh to deliver solutions
* Participate in new business initiatives working with Client Executives as required
* Auditing of colleagues files and producing reports for team leader
* Taking technical insurance projects on behalf of team or whole department
* Undertake specified tasks as directed by management adhering to agreed timescales
What you need to have:
The role will require you to be personable and able to maintain relationships both internally and externally of Marsh. Most of all, the role will require you to immerse yourself in the environment in which our clients operate. You will also need;
* Experience in the insurance industry in a client-facing role
* The ability to manage your workload and the workload of support staff on your accounts
* An awareness of the Client’s business, business issues, insurance programmes and service plans
* Competency in Microsoft Office applications and adaptability to become competent in all relevant Marsh business systems.
* People skills to liaise with the various divisions within Marsh to provide Client service solutions.
* To work within FCA, Marsh Compliance and Marsh specific procedures and guidelines
* To strive to deliver best practice, market leading service and solutions
