Job Overview
We are seeking relief hour individuals to provide excellent person-centred care and support to tenants with learning disabilities living within the Whitley Bay area. You will assist and develop the everyday living skills of our service users and support them to enjoy a wide range of activities.
Responsibilities
1. Provide person-centred care and support to tenants.
2. Assist in developing everyday living skills.
3. Encourage tenants to live socially inclusive lives.
4. Build trusting and friendly rapport with service users.
5. Work within local and corporate policy guidelines.
Requirements
1. Minimum of twelve months experience in a similar role.
2. Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
3. Superb communication skills.
4. Ability to work within positive behaviour support guidelines.
5. Warm and motivated individuals with a keen interest in personalized support.
Additional Information
This is a Relief Support Worker position which enables you to pick up shifts at a time that suits you, ideal for fitting around personal commitments, study, or caring responsibilities.
