About the Role In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success and productivity of the EdUK sales team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing expert strategies, tools, and processes that empower the sales team to achieve their goals. Duties will include: Strategic Thinking Lead the sales go to market strategy for product launches at all stages Provide insight on curriculum development and amplify market trends to product teams Manage a team of Portfolio managers to deliver sales revenue at brand level Direct the operations team in optimising process to generate great efficiency Sales Training and Development Design and deliver comprehensive sales training to improve sales skills, product knowledge, and competitive positioning Develop onboarding programs for new sales hires to ensure rapid ramp-up and integration into the sales team Implement ongoing training initiatives to address evolving market dynamics and sales techniques Content Creation and Management Develop, curate, and manage sales enablement content, including presentations, playbooks, case studies, and competitor analysis Ensure all content is easily accessible and utilised effectively by the sales team Oversee collaboration with marketing and product teams to create and update sales materials that reflect current offerings and value propositions Tools and Technology Management Identify, implement, and manage sales enablement tools and technologies that support the sales process Stay updated on the latest sales enablement technologies and trends to ensure the company remains at the forefront of the industry Oversee the implementation of new CRM systems, processes and methods to improve performance within each stage of the sales funnel Performance Analysis and Reporting Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of sales enablement initiatives Conduct gap analysis to identify and address skill or knowledge deficiencies within the sales team Collaboration and Leadership Work closely with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives Lead a team of sales enablement professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence Act as a trusted advisor to sales leadership, providing strategic input on sales strategies and initiatives Design and embed subject expert team in line with strategic growth priorities This is a home based role that requires frequent travel. About You Demonstrable experience in sales enablement, sales training, or a related role within the sales or education industry. Strong commercial acumen with proven experience in account management excellence. Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales enablement programs. Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in sales enablement tools and technologies is desirable. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Benefits We care about work/life balance here at OUP.
