• Experience in a supervisory role within an educational setting is preferred but not essential.
• The ability to maintain student focus, manage behaviour, and ensure a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Further details about the role
This role offers an exciting opportunity to work within our outstanding Learning Support Department, supporting students across all Key Stages. This role is ideal for someone thinking about becoming a teacher and, if this is the case, we will be able to support you in applying for teacher training. As a Cover Supervisor, you will:
• Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students stay on task.
• Provide guidance and support to students, creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Implement administrative tasks such as attendance recording and classroom behaviour management.
• Maintain a safe and orderly environment, addressing student behaviour issues promptly.
• Support Special Educational Needs (SEN) students within the classroom.
