What you'll be doing
As a Project Coordinator, you will plan and deliver investment projects for Low Voltage (LV) Plant with a budget of approximately £3 million per year. You'll ensure the delivery of district LV Plant volumes as per targets, forecasting your programme throughout the year.
The Project Coordinator will work independently and be supported by a team of project coordinators/project managers, each with their own workstreams. This role is based in the Merseyside Office in Liverpool City Centre and reports to Merseyside's Senior Project Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* Liaise with customers and service partners to facilitate the delivery of works.
* Ensure optimal operational & commercial performance from external delivery partners.
* Compose and distribute project/programme status reports.
* Coordinate multiple planned delivery teams over a variety of sites/works each day.
* Work towards a zero-accident culture and lead by example.
* Help maintain a safe and secure network.
* Work efficiently making decisions to control project costs whilst delivering outputs.
* Capture and track improvements for delivery and communicate with relevant stakeholders.
* Seek to improve the LV system through proactive decisions and coordinating programmes of work to reduce future network risk.
What you'll bring
* Technical, analytical or planning experience in a relevant role.
* Strong communicator and adept in managing competing priorities/tasks.
* Enthusiastic and flexible individual who is self-motivated with the drive to succeed.
* Knowledge of the safety rules or appreciation of the industry and the importance of safety.
* An understanding of the distribution network/system (preferred), but not essential.
* Ability to communicate and present information effectively at all levels.
* Ability to deliver objectives without compromising on safety, quality, or customer service.
* Good organisation and time management skills.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate as a minimum:
* Relevant network construction, data analyses or operational experience.
* Computer literacy.
