Role Overview:
Are you a detail-oriented and highly organised hospitality professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a talented and passionate Hospitality and Conferencing Manager to join our dynamic team and contribute to our event planning excellence. You will have the opportunity to refine your skills, learn from experienced colleagues within the catering department, and play a crucial role in delivering both exceptional service and events to our clients.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the planning, coordination, and hospitality service delivery of various events, including conferences, trade shows, corporate meetings, and social gatherings.
2. Be a driving force for positive change within the department.
3. Provide detailed reports and analysis to Senior Management.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
5. Be methodical in the organisation of the venue operating spaces.
6. Support and mentor your event staff.
About you:
1. Previous experience as a Hospitality Manager, Events Manager, or relevant position in a fast-paced hospitality and event planning and delivery environment.
2. Solid understanding of event planning techniques, stakeholder management, and logistical coordination.
3. Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise tasks, and multitask effectively.
4. Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering legendary event experiences.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
