We are looking for a compassionate and experienced senior support worker to join our team in Liverpool. The successful candidate will have a background working with children in residential children’s home settings. You will play a key role in providing specialized care and support to our children.
Salary & Benefits
£29,500 to £32,500 depending on experience.

Role Summary
The role of senior support worker is to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the complex care provision, including deputizing for the deputy manager as required. Key responsibilities include assisting the Registered Manager in the management and development of the home and supporting staff to deliver excellent quality service for the children in our care.
You must ensure a consistently high standard of care in accordance with legislation, central government guidance, regulations, and the policies and procedures of the company. Your behavior, performance, and conduct must promote a positive image of Logicare that reflects the company’s vision, mission, and purpose.
Responsibilities
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of all children in the home.
* Lead, exemplify, and evaluate excellent practice within your staff teams.
* Monitor and revise children’s care and placement plans, ensuring identified needs are met.
* Ensure the effectiveness of staff through regular support and supervision.
* Coach, train, and mentor staff to enable them to deliver best practice.
* Promote health and safety of employees and those supported through Logicare’s corporate policy.
* Ensure new staff are managed and supported during their probation induction.
* Maintain professional boundaries with all children, staff, visitors, and families.
* Report any concerns regarding staff conduct or child safeguarding.
Requirements
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a residential support worker within a registered children’s home setting.
* Level 3/4 children and young people workforce diploma.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Understanding of regulatory requirements and ability to ensure compliance.
* Prior experience in supervising staff members in a children’s home setting.
