Do you want to work with a well-established, successful and forward-thinking company? They are keen to speak with an articulate and intelligent valuation surveyor to be based at their North West Kent office joining the Professional Department.

To be in the running for this role, you will be:
* A Chartered Surveyor (MRICS / FRICS) and a RICS Registered Valuer with extensive survey and valuation knowledge within the residential sector.
* Analytical and perceptive with excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work in a professional, courteous, and respectful manner.
* Capable of working without supervision, while being team-oriented, flexible, committed, and commercially aware.
* Holding a clean, full UK driving licence and having access to a vehicle (with business insurance).
* Having a solid working knowledge of Quest Xit2, Microsoft Office packages including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
The Role: To act on behalf of the company, Allied Surveyors and their clients, undertaking a variety of residential surveys and valuation work to the highest standard and adhering to current legislation and best practice.
Main Duties:
* Preparing accurate property valuations and providing condition assessments for various residential property types.
* Undertaking thorough inspections/surveys of buildings.
* Preparing reports on residential property for purposes such as mortgage valuations, building surveys, homebuyers reports, and expert witness cases.
* Using online databases and applications for receiving instructions, submitting reports, and obtaining information relevant to survey and valuation work.
* Recording detailed inspection notes and ensuring files are maintained in accordance with the company’s internal procedures.
Legislation:
* Up-to-date knowledge of Red Book RICS Valuation, complying with its mandatory rules and best practice guidance.
* Current RICS legislation and relevant legislation.
* Code of Measuring Practice.
* Health and Safety regulations and requirements.
* House in Multiple Occupation legislation.
* Client-specific requirements as published in their terms of engagement.
