Key Responsibilities:
1. To meet all customers’ and business requirements in the most cost-effective, professional, and timely manner whilst achieving a high level of customer service.
2. To provide customers with a quality service for all sales enquiries, quotations, orders, deliveries, and associated administration.
3. Support the role of the external sales force through securing work, following up on sales leads, and promotion of branded products.
Key Accountabilities:
1. Monitor Plant availability:
* Record exceptions daily.
* Exception report to TL on a weekly basis.
1. Plant Breakdown:
* Ensure unplanned plant downtime is updated within SyncroTess.
* Ensure customer deliveries are amended to lowest cost of supply.
* Control of material buyout when applicable.
2. Order Management:
* Create, alter, and confirm new customer orders in the Company’s SAP Order Management system.
* Negotiate realistic delivery times with customers.
3. Delivery Management:
* Comply effectively with the Pre Plan Cycle.
* Record exceptions daily.
4. General:
* Liaison with ACM/DSM/AGM/RD/AOM/RM and other required sales & operational staff.
* Efficiently handle customer and haulier enquiries and queries to resolution in a timely manner.
