Tesco Property Maintenance is looking for hardworking and efficient Maintenance Technicians to join our growing Property Maintenance Team! Our stores and offices couldn’t function without the support of our integral teams.
You will be responsible for
As a Maintenance Technician, your specific responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks. To thrive in this role, you will need to:
* Confidently interact with external contractors: Coordinating repairs seamlessly.
* Work collaboratively with the team: Be a great colleague who understands the importance of quality service.
* Sustain high energy levels: Juggling tasks while maintaining efficiency.
* Assist the management team: Keeping our stores operating smoothly by maintaining equipment and facilities.
* Minimize customer disruption: Coordinating repairs with minimal impact on our valued customers.
Responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring all Tesco sites are a safe and functioning environment for customers and colleagues.
* Following the planned work schedule to achieve first time fix, improving efficiency and effectiveness.
* Working closely with team members, sharing best practices and knowledge.
* General day-to-day store and property maintenance.
* Using mobile devices; phone and tablet, to drive the best approach in work completion and updates.
* Representing the Tesco brand by demonstrating our core values (serving our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day), maintaining a positive attitude, and taking pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
* Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
* Supporting a diverse and inclusive culture.
You will need
As a vital part of our Maintenance team, you will demonstrate enthusiasm for maintaining high standards. With previous experience in a maintenance, engineering, or construction environment, you will be digitally confident using a tablet to view daily work schedules and manage emails.
Operational Skills:
* ONC or equivalent.
* Full driving license.
* Health & Safety awareness.
* Office 365 knowledge.
* Completed all technical training upskilling modules relevant to abilities.
