Bertha Park High School
We are seeking a dedicated Pupil Support Assistant (Enhanced) to provide one-to-one support within our Intensive Support Provision.
Skills & Experience Required
Responsibilities:
* Support pupil learning in class and group settings.
* Assist with intimate care and eating/drinking routines.
* Supervise pupils in various settings.
* Prepare learning materials (e.g., Boardmaker).
* Support ICT programmes.
* Maintain awareness of school policies (Child Protection, etc.).
* Experience working with children/young people with ASN.
* PDA in Support for Learning, SVQ qualifications, SSCC registration.
Skills:
* Contribute to IEPs, support transitions, organise materials, willingness to undertake intimate care training, knowledge of ICT and augmentative communication, experience managing small groups, awareness of risk assessment and child protection.
