Role Summary
The Senior Manager, ERS Sustainment Support assists our 330 ERS Hotels in EMEA to work successfully with the ERS related functionalities in the yield and reservation systems. This role provides technical support for system optimization, prepares the hotels for the upcoming Digital & Technology Transformation as well as training for the respective audience.
This role is a 12-month fixed term position and is part of the EMEA Revenue Operations Team.
Responsibilities:
* Support ERS hotels in EMEA for system optimization, inventory change requests, and roll-backs.
* Communicate best practices and support to work successfully in the ERS system environment.
* Ensure that ERS hotels are properly set up for a smooth ACRS conversation.
* Respond to hotel questions and requests for assistance within a 48-hour period.
* Resolve system set up errors in Opera PMS, MARSHA, One Yield.
* Escalate according to pre-defined procedures.
* Track and manage actions on risks and issues.
* Monitor hotels on an ongoing basis against tasks for inventory changes and roll-backs.
* Conduct system audits to review opportunities to increase revenue through ERS and share best practices.
* Conduct ERS webinars frequently to update hotels and communicate updates and best practices.
Experience & Education:
Previous Marriott revenue management experience (3+ years).
Skills and Knowledge:
* Excellent knowledge of Marriott's systems (MARSHA, One Yield, High Performance Pricing, etc.) and how they relate to one another.
* Excellent knowledge of Marriott's distribution channels (OTA, wholesaler, etc.) in relation to Marriott's system connectivity.
* Excellent knowledge of revenue management concepts/principles, tactics, tools, and processes.
* Attention to detail and follow-through to conclusion.
* Able to translate business needs into actions; ensures all work is completed effectively; solves problems and monitors the progress of work against schedules; maintains high performance standards.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Organizational skills.
* Able to work in a multi-task environment.
* Able to make sound decisions with minimal supervision.
* Ability to influence change and decisions.
