We are now recruiting for a Band 7 CAMHS Practitioner to join an innovative team, to join a well-established NHS trust based in Colchester, Essex. The role is available to start as soon as possible on a locum basis.
The successful CAMHS Practitioner will be providing assessments to a caseload of children and young people with a range of mental health conditions. you will play a pivotal role in providing essential mental health support to children and adolescents facing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges.
Skills and experience needed:
1. Show excellent CAMHS experience
2. Able to complete urgent assessments
3. Extensive experience of working as a CAMHS Practitioner
4. Offer clinical treatment work and consultation
5. Experience of a wide range of young people’s mental health presentations
6. Can work well independently and as part of the team
