We are currently working with a consultancy who are looking to bring in Transport Planners from TP – Associate level. As part of their national transport planning and multidisciplinary teams—including civil engineering, landscape planning and design, and water and environmental management—we play a key role in shaping the built environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Preparing technical reports such as Access Appraisals, Transport Statements, Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, and WCHARs, with support from colleagues.
* Conducting junction capacity modelling and CAD design work.
* Managing projects and assisting with financial aspects, including fee proposals and invoicing, with guidance from colleagues.
* Mentoring junior team members.
* Engaging with stakeholders, external project teams, and clients.
* Representing at meetings, public consultations, and exhibitions.
* Undertaking site visits.
* Managing your own workload with support from the team.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working on developments across sectors such as residential, commercial, and education.
* A working knowledge of traffic modelling software (junction & strategic).
* An understanding of strategic development sites and the plan-making process.
* Experience liaising with stakeholders.
* A full UK driving license.
* The Right to Work in the UK (Unable to provide visa sponsorship now or in the future).
