We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Avionics (AVS) UK team in Crawley, West Sussex.

Key responsibilities:
* Manage all project activities from bid to contract fulfillment, employing best practices.
* Report project progress to senior management.
* Lead and establish a high-performing project team.
* Manage project elements: scope, quality, procurement, schedule, finance, risks, and communications.
* Improve project budgets and working capital.
* Ensure compliance with company processes and legal export requirements.
* Develop and review programme plans and estimates.
* Draft work packages, maintain risk registers, and produce project metrics.
* Manage stakeholder requirements and support bid processes.
* Coordinate with support functions to achieve project objectives.
* Support change initiatives within the project environment.
* Demonstrate alignment with Thales' core values and ethics policy.
About you:
* Proven experience in project/program management with comprehensive understanding of project management areas.
* Customer-focused with a track record of successful project delivery.
* Understanding support models and Through Life Support activities.
* Strong risk management skills.
* Engineering familiarity with software, hardware, and systems engineering.
* Commercial awareness with experience in contract negotiations.
* Hands-on experience in project control, financial reporting, budgeting, and quality management.
