Key Account Manager - HIV - Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool & Leeds
Our client is a specialist pharmaceutical company 100% dedicated to HIV medicines and research and focused on people living with HIV and AIDS. They do things differently. From their unique origins to innovative medicines, they push the boundaries of what people think is possible in HIV treatment and care.
The HIV Treatment Key Account Manager is a critical role specifically responsible for leading the strategic approach across key target accounts to deliver uptake of their promoted medicines.
Working closely with the cross functional Territory and Brand Team, they will have several core elements to their role, outlined below:
* Generating appropriate use of licensed assets in hospitals/centres by providing Health Care Professionals (HCPs) with highly credible and engaging interactions on their promoted medicines
* Development and maintenance of strategic account plans to support the appropriate use of their medicines, working with other field colleagues in line with ways of working guidelines
* Act as the focal point of contact within the accounts overall, introducing other cross functional team members to the local clinical and payer customers as appropriate (e.g.: Medical off label reactive requests) and ensuring overall coordination for a seamless customer experience
* Delivering omnichannel approach to implement plans across face-to-face, digital, and multimedia touchpoints
* Commercially focused sales conversations, to include clinical and access, delivered in a highly qualified and engaging manner using clinical and access materials provided. Customers to include Professors, Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists and Pharmacists
* Achieving market access to enable Hospital/centre usage
* Provide Budget Impact Modelling, Value Story and Value Proposition for core in-market products
Candidate background required:
* Excellence in brand selling to specialist and secondary care centres
* Ability to employ a key account management approach to working in hospitals/centres
* Ability to influence NHS customers
* High level of interpersonal skills
* Demonstration of excellent NHS knowledge and understanding
* Demonstrated commercial acumen
* Ability to adapt and maintain skills in a rapidly changing environment
* HIV experience desirable
* ABPI qualified
